The Illini Union is alerting the community that the building will be undergoing a complete roof replacement starting after the 2024 graduation weekend (May 11-12). The replacement project will take approximately two years with a projected completion date in late 2026. Complete Details
The Illini Union is comprised of four main levels where program offices, meeting rooms and venues resides. Additionally, the lower level houses the Food Court, CLASS, and the Rec Room. As always, if you have trouble finding what you are looking for, the Illini Union staff is on hand to assist you.

Secretary of State Mobile Unit
This service is located in Room 210 (second floor, north side) of the Illini Union on select Wednesdays from 10am-3pm and offers services such as driver's license & state ID renewal, replace, correct; vision and written tests; vehicle stickers; and vehicle title and registration. McKinley Health Resource Center
McKinley Health Resource Center is located in the lower level inside of CLASS. It gives over-the-counter supplies to students who present their i-card. These resources are intended to benefit the overall health of the student body, as well as provide skills and knowledge to help students better care for themselves.

Illinois Leadership Center
The Illinois Leadership Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Southeast Wing (Quad side).
The Student Engagement office is located on the 2nd floor of the Southeast Wing (Quad Side), along with the Student Organization Complex. The units in Student Engagement are Student Org Development & Administration (SODA), Student Org Finance Center (SOFC), Student Sustainability, and Civic Life.
Student Legal Services
Student Legal Services is located on the 3rd floor of the Northwest wing.
It has three full-time attorneys who are dedicated to aiding the student body. Student Legal Services also offers opportunities to students at the University of Illinois School of Law. They can volunteer and gain experience consulting on cases under the supervision of their superiors.

Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC)
GSRC is located on the 3rd floor of the Northwest wing.
By providing a safe and inclusive venue, the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center is fervent in its mission to help ensure that the campus community is supportive of the LGBT community. The center works with various parties on campus to develop programming that entails LGBT education and promotes understanding and awareness about current issues as well as progress. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to seek support services from the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center when necessary as the center is a confidential and safe forum to discuss any issues they have come across during their time at the university.
