The Illini Union Parent and Family Programs Office is committed to providing the University of Illinois' families with up-to-date information, sharing resources to assist you in the role you play in your student’s success, and being a point of contact to answer questions or address your concerns, especially if this is your first time sending a student to college. PFPO's goal is to help families develop productive parent and family-university partnerships by providing information and tools that they can use to best support their students through their college careers.

Created in the 1920s, The Illini Moms association and Illini Dads association are the oldest known parent associations in the country.
